Full Day Cappadocia Tour A (Daily)
Depart from the hotel at 09.30-10.00 depending on the arrival time of the participants from the other hotels and visit the Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy-chimneys. Drive to Pasabagi (Monk’s Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Drive to the city of Avanos for lunch. In the afternoon visit Open Air Museum at Goreme where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years. Lastly, before returning to your hotel, visit the natural castle at Uchisar.

Whirling Dervishes Ceremony (Daily)
The ceremony is performed by members of the Mevlevi order, who follow Mevlana Jalaladdin Rumi’s mystical teachings. The dance is a symbolic, ritualized routine that incorporates whirling. The performers wear the traditional costume with the hat symbolizing the gravestone, the white dress the soul, the black coat the grave, and the whirling the turning of all things (the stars, the earth, the baby in the womb, and even atomic particles. Live musicians play and sing philosophical music on traditional instruments inter-dispersed with readings of sections from the Koran. Only here in Cappadocia is the full routine performed in a respectful atmosphere of dimmed lights where the audience sits around a circular stage in the setting of a traditional Caravanserai.
